I personally recommend that you do not mix 32 and 64 bit plugs in an environment where KK is involved as that appears to be at the heart of my problem.

Obviously, select in reverse if you are using exclusively 32 bit plugs. (See attached Reaper screenshot.) This assumes that you are operating in a strictly 64 bit environment. With respect to Reaper, the solution involves going to Preferences/VSTs and altering the search path to include:Ĭ:\Program Files\Native Instruments\VST Plugins 64bit\, and exclude any directories containing X86 or 32 bit plugs. Once the entire KK library is proven to be available and functioning correctly in Stand Alone, proceed to your DAW as follows:

But I have no idea where I can find the plug-in preferences within KK’s plug-in interface. I have enough vision to see much of the screen. "Please open the stand alone application to rescan, or rescan manually in the plug-in preferences." But when I choose one and load it, I get the following message: When I load Reaper and try to add an instrument in KK as a plug within Reaper, my products show up and my patches show up. However, while all my instruments showed up fine in Sonar 8.5, my original DAW, KK is now exhibiting a very curious and never before seen failure in both Samplitude Pro X3 Suite and Reaper 5.40. I did manage it eventually and I was able to rescan my database in KK Stand Alone.

But installing it into Contact and getting it recognized by Service Center/Native Access was not blind friendly at all. Previously, my installation experience has gone smoothly. This is not the first Spitfire product I’ve bought. I just purchased a wonderful new library from Spitfire Audio called Bernard Herman Composer Tool Kit.
